SeriArch is a small Brisbane studio — eleven people, one workroom, every project seen by a director from the first sketch to the last site visit.

Comfort comes from the plan, not the plant room. We design with orientation, shade, thermal mass and cross-ventilation first, which is why our houses stay liveable through a Brisbane February and cost less to run for the forty years after that.

We enter work sparingly, and usually because a client is proud of the house and wants to see it published.
Awards are a poor measure of whether a house works — the better measure is whether the people in it still open the doors every morning five years later.
That said, recognition helps a small studio be taken seriously by builders, certifiers and councils, and it matters to the people who trusted us with the project.
